  1. We work with all big ferry companies that are on the market right now such as Stena Line, P&O, Irish Ferries, Brittany Ferries, Steam Packet Company and DFDS. We can provide crossings not only to Ireland but also to the Isle of Man and continent.
With each one we have a different deal to offer your club members hence is hard to stick just to certain percentage or amount however we aim to offer best price available.

  2. Hi Luke....welcome to the Forum

I would completely agree with Dave and over service the car with regards to fluids and filters and it also gives you a chance to look for potential issues and if anything is degrading between inspections.
It used to be common practice to carry out weekly inspections on cars which ensured the car stayed in tip top condition at all times.....seems like most people don't even check from year to year nowadays 😞

    Good to have you onboard

  3. Hi Kieran....welcome to the Club

Replacement of the air bags is a relatively easy job but you will also have to replace the controller which will now be defunct and code in a new one.
Also, some sensors may have to be replaced also.
Technically, everything associated with the SRS including the wiring loom should be replaced following an incident that has led to the Airbags deploying.

Let us know how you get on with it all

  4. With BMW it seems there are three services (unless things have changed over the years)
Oil Service - which is just that and a checkover
Service I - which is a minor service
Service II - which is a major service

I would double check all service history stamps to check nothing has been missed though and then go for the one you think it best for the car, and your wallet 🙂

  5. Always a good move to remove emission items on the early cars, they never did work properly and were only there for the manufacturers to gain Euro standard emissions (drive-by noise reduction valve on the exhaust is a classic example - replacement exhausts aren't equipped with this component)

I used to work on a lot of American cars from the late 60's and early 70's and they had so much useless junk on them that a 5.7 litre V8 would only produce 210bhp....after we stripped off air injection, early pellet type catalytic converter, restricted inlet manifold, EVAP....and so much more junk to satisfy the Californian emissions rules. After that we were getting a respectable 280bhp output from the engine and the thing would still run incredibly clean on emissions

  6. Hi Daniel....welcome to the Forum

Always nice to see an old school Beemer

Is it the pedal physically not returning to rest or is the revs that are not returning to idle?

If its just the revs and not a physical problem with the pedal movement then it could be a vacuum leak which is holding the revs up
