I know that there are companies like Forge that supply different lengths and bore sizes but you would have to use connectors to create the bends and that can look a bit ugly but effective nonetheless.

Not sure I would trust many adverts saying 'win this...' but have given BOTB a couple of tries recently to win a watch or a Harley Davidson for around £1.50 - £2.00.
Well I suppose its unlikely I'll win either but for that small amount I thought I'd give it a go as someone has to win it

So who's up for this one later in the year?

Hi Neil
Welcome to the Forum
You certainly had a great history of car ownership, some lovely machines in there.
Our very own Greydog also has a pretty impressive historical list of previously owned iron
Good to have you onboard

Hi Chris
Welcome to the Forum
Sorry to hear you've had some serious issues with your X5.
Hope you get it sorted or part it out whichever is more appropriate

Hi Samantha....welcome to the Forum
I believe it has a festoon bulb fitted in the boot (will check on my Z3 later) and here are some from Halfords
They also sell a brighter version but not sure you need that much light in the boot though 🙂

Happy New Year to you Dave and all Bimmer Owners Club members 🙂

Alldalights my thoughts also.
Definitely interested in a stainless sports exhaust mainly for the weight saving (original is a huge weight compared to the thinner stainless steel).Saw a company on eBay which looked good quality and price

Will probably go there once lockdown is all over next year and at least that will be a good start.
After that, was thinking a few bushes but too many as can stiffen up the suspension a little too hard for everyday road use.

If my old brain hasn't failed me there is also a temperature sensor in the bottom hose. You could possibly tap into that to control your fan. Check fan rotation just in case your fan is pushing hot air from the engine onto the rad not pulling cool air through.
Very good point Dave....that would definitely explain it.
Also, think there is a bleed point (bolt) on the water pump to bleed the air out?

Hi MIkey44
I think this has been an issue with many DashCam manufacturers and it is only a matter of time before SD cards are outdated and other memory storage media is replacing it.

Hi Dave
Thanks, it does look fresher and lots more functions, more of which will be introduced shortly, including an App for phone users.
Cheers, Trevor

I have uploaded a series of pics of our our history with BMW cars since 1994 -- but now have a couple of questions;
1. How do I add these to an albumn ?
2. How do I delete a image ?
Hi Murray....welcome to the Forum
To add photos to the Gallery, log into the Forum and go to this link: https://www.bimmerownersclub.com/gallery/
Then click 'Add Image' button at the top right of the page.
This will then allow you to upload images but if you can try to limit the size of each image to say around 500mb maximum then it should upload without any issues.
Any issues then please let me know
Cheers, Trevor

It might relate to the Occupancy Sensor in the passenger seat as these tend to break but can be overriden with a small resistor/diode device to fool the system to believe there is someone sat in the seat.
This puts the light out but the SRS still functions perfectly fine
Welcome lights

Not sure but think you may need to code them in for current supply if it wasn't originally there
