Morning Dave
Music is really a matter of personal choice, its always nice to know what people listen to and their particular tastes.
I also mostly prefer to drive and listen the engine and concentrate on the traffic and only when I'm on a motorway I can relax enough to blast some Music out of the stereo.
Have to say, mostly its whatever is on my Favourites list on YouTube, could be classical or rock (mostly).Incidentally, Dark Side of the Moon is an absolute Classic, so your daughter is not entirely wrong 🙂

So when you are finally released from lockdown and able to drive your car....what Music will you play in the car?
-
very nice...and incredibly satisfying I imagine?

Its a fine looking Zed, no wonder you want it back 🙂
Had a few cars (and women) myself that i wished i'd never moved on
-
The other alternative is to remove them and replace them with the style as above....probably more readily available as well
-
A very fine collection of vehicles Dave, especially the earlier ones 🙂
There's certainly a few in that list that are still on my wish list -
Hi Iain....welcome to the Forum

My Ford experience is late 80's I was driving a Cosworth Scorpio (still up there with the best cars I have owned and I have had a lot) replaced in the early 90's with a Whale tale Cossie then a Cossie Saphire 4x4 loved that car until it was stolen!!. Replaced it with a Lotus Carlton due to the Cosworths being almost un-insurable the Lotus was less than half the price, could never figure that out??
Oh now you are talking proper cars Dave (as in the sort that legends are created) Although the Cosworths hold a special place in most car enthusiasts hearts the Carlton on the other hand is close to being a demigod of cars (in my mind) and unfortunately never had the opportunity to own or drive one

Hi Martin.....welcome to the Forum
AC or not, I'm sure the Zed is a superb car especially as it has a 3.0 litre lump in it.
I assume this is the badge you are referring to?
You can get aftermarket ones through BMW suppliers, not sure of costs though.Feel free to post up some photos if you want, would love to see it
Good to have you onboard
Cheers, Trevor -
Hi Richard....welcome to the Forum
If you have jump leads connected to the under bonnet terminals then it should provide enough power to unlock the boot or doors at least.
Probably not sufficient power to pass through to the battery to jump start but enough for ancillary circuits though

Hi Dave, we are good thanks, hope you and yours are well?
We've been restricted to 3 bottles of wine at Morrisons, although we didn't panic buy food, just wine 🙂

Just enjoying a mid afternoon beer after cutting the grass my wife is enjoying a ride and the dogs are walked and to top it all the sun is out so it's a good day so far.
You haven't progressed to mid morning beers yet then Dave? 🙂
They do say that alcohol consumption is definitely up since the lockdown and I can vouch that someone has been putting empty wine bottles in our recycling 🙂

As we are in lockdown and trying to find things to occupy our time, polishing the car seems quite popular with the majority of us.
So, what do you think is the best Polish to use on your paintwork?

Windy....to blow the cobwebs away and intake of fresh air during daily exercise 🙂

With all the bad news thats going around lately, let's all keep our chin up with a bit of Music.
Let's run a "Your song of the day" using YouTube videos
Pop a new song up daily and keep it going!
my choice today is The Chain by Fleetwood Mac, seems to be chilling me out nicely 🙂
