E36 328I Msport Spinning Out How To Stop This
Yeah the disabled TC won't be helping. Also being RWD have you checked the tyre tread? If low on grip or budget tyres then more likely to spin out too

Fluid Changes
Spent this weekend doing the filter and fluid change on the auto box. Had the lurch when coming to a stop (once gearbox oil came upto temp). The change seems to have cured it by around 80% i reckon. Only lurches every so often now. and it seems to be when coming to a complete stop from quite a speed such as 30-0 rather than gradually slowing down. I will be doing another filter fluid change in around 1k miles to ensure majority of the fluid is new-ish. Also did the transfer box and 2 diffs. My! What a difference, So much smoother. For the diffs (used just under 3 litres in total): http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/BMW_X5_4.6_2003/p/car-accessories/engine-oils-and-car-fluids/car-tranmission-oils/manual-transmission-fluids/?522776021&0&cc5_868 For the AutoBox and Transfer Case/Box http://www.fleetfactors.co.uk/lubricants-c8/automotive-oils-c16/texamatic-7045e-p387 The autobox used around 4.5 litres (thats what came out) and the transfer case used around 3/4 of a litre. Hope this helps.

Gains + Swirl Flaps
is it just a cat back system or full exhaust system? Maybe worth doing a de-cat? Also ensuring there is a decent cold air feed going to the huge filter you have...... As mentioned a good custom remap shoule iron out the flat spots and increase torque too. Failing that not much more to be had in terms of 'cheap mods' on a N/A car.

Anyone Upgraded To Xenon Headlights?
2 ways to do this. 1: Get the 'xenon style' bulbs, which are normal halogen bulbs with a blue tint on them which give a 'whiter light' (This will never look xenon though and normally these are in higher wattages than OEM which is 55w, so they tend to either melt the bulb holders or they blow out quite regularly) 2: Fit a Canbus compatible HID kit. Colour temp 4300k/5000k for OEM look - this will give you alot more light and a better look. PM me if you want to discuss further. :)

Fog Light Bulbs
Hi that looks like a H11 HID BULB. More than likely the issue coul be with the ballast itself (which is what the bulb would have been connected to). Either the correct ballast was not fitted (canbus compatible - error free) or it is actually faulty. The bulb visibily looks ok, when a HID bulb goes faulty or blows you can see a lot more milkiness in the tube and around the spheric bit.

Parking Sensors Stopped Working?
check what the PDC light does when you activate the sensors. Is it flashing or solid. Sometimes you just get a long beep when one of the sensors gets a false reading or is faulty (as Gav said)

X5 3D Smoke
if it starts a little rough in mornings could be glow plugs. INPA will show up as 'Glow device' But as said above, whiteish smoke is normal. Worn valve guides would be blue ish smoke and a distinct smells. Same for rotten turbo (plus you would smoke the whole street out)

What The Widest Wheels You Could Fit To 530D Tourer Sticking Out
i had 9.5J rims with a 3inch rear dish 275/30/19 tyres. I presume you could stick a hubcentric spacer on and bring the wheels out more...

Parking Sensors Stopped Working?
Put car on ignition only, and in reverse. Go round the back and put your ear to each sensor. If you can hear a ticking noise then the sensors are working. do the same with the front. If all of them tick, then check which one ticks the softest.......
