Morning Malcolm Welcome to the Forum I am not sure but if you already have M-sport brakes they are the same size check www.realoem.com put the last 7 digits of your VIN into the search box it will call up your model then check the brake section for sizes and part numbers, then repeat for the M135i Dave

Morning Ian Welcome to the Forum Petrol or Diesel ? 3.0i 3.0iX, 4.0i 4.0iX or th big boy M50ix ? 3.0dX or the other big boy M50dX? At 21400 miles it would probably be a sensor issue but a scan by someone with a BMW diagnostic scanner would confirm that, or someone capable of testing the sensor with a multi heater Hope this helps Dave

Morning Paul Wow that's a bit of a mess, the fact it went so quickly my thoughts are Oil Cooler pipe split, Remote Oil Filter feed/return pipe off or loose, Sump plug lost ? Good luck hope it is a relatively simple fix and that there is no other damage Dave

Morning Richard The Gearbox has very little braking effect in normal driving there are hill descent settings which give some braking and even change down a gear but from memory (dangerous) that only kicks in at speeds below 30mph Or are you talking about the emergency braking system fitted to some models with cameras? Morning Matthew Welcome to the Forum If you can reach the broken/split part try a joining piece first Halfords or Motor Factors though if the pipe has hardened and is brittle it may well need a new pipe. Check www.realoem.com find your part and there should be an indicative price in US $ (US site) Dave

Greydog replied to Vic Leonard's topic in BMW X2 Series Forum
Hi Vic Welcome to the Forum Check www.realoem.com search the seat section double click the part number and it should bring up a list of alternates and other models they were used in. You will also find exploded drawings of the seats and their components Hope this helps Dave -

Morning Jimmie Try the website for contact details, the repair specialists I have used since the 90's and both have been superb. You must have similar in the US surely, if not worth emailing them and asking the question about repair. The last you could try is BROSE the OEM manufacturer they may be able to help. https://www.bmw.co.uk Repair Specialists in the UK ECU Testing + 44 1773 535638 E Mail info@ecutesting .com BBA Reman +44 1634 687222 E Mail [email protected] https://www.brose.com/de-en Dave

Morning Warren Welcome (Back) to the Forum I think that will work, as with quite a few of the ISTA/INPA driven operations it also registers that the Filter has been changed or in a few thousand miles you may start getting Service warnings. There are several programs now that can carry out these operations so maybe a member here who has INPA/ISTA, Autologic or similar can help? Good luck with the challenge Dave

Desperately seeking advice on conclusion of garage on error codes
Greydog replied to Wishplay's topic in BMW 1 Series Forum
Has the work been carried out? If not tell the Original Supplier to fix it it is up to them how they do it but the Fault was a pre existing fault so they should be given a chance. If the work has been carried out, did it fix the problem? As I tried to explain right at the start of this SAGA having a list of codes doesn't fix anything but what they do is point to the likely suspects. So a failing fuel pressure sensor can cause an imbalance in emission's that will trigger an O2 sensor fault which in turn can trigger other faults which are symptoms NOT actual faults I am at a loss as to what you expect from the Forum ? Under consumer protection the responsibility is the Original suppliers and they should be given an opportunity to resolve it. There isn't a magic wand that can be waved that will fix your car outside your house it takes effort by both parties and yes some times cost. For what it is worth ALL modern cars (mid 1990's onwards) are full of computers talking to each other so the upshot is they all need diagnostics. So whether the car is a Kia or a BMW the same issues could arise Dave- 19 replies
