  13. Daft question alert!!!! Is the battery under the bonnet on an E36?
  14. Welcome along mate
  15. I must agree there is prob a li-ion battery inside, but it is also possible to charge something without a physical + and - terminal, prob using condition or even induction maybe?
  16. I have a 320d and the turbo usually max boosts at around 2200 revs.
  17. I nearly did it just TBH, was only sticking £20 in, was watching the wrong one, luckily released as I got to £22
  18. But its still a must to get it off and give it a clean, as its an easy job and Dabs is still probably right.
  19. Just for the record... I recently had a problem with my car that resulted in a complete engine strip down and rebuild.... While it was stripped I asked them to make sure they cleaned the EGR valve, and they reported back to me that it was that caked in soot it was wedged open and must have been for some time. I didn't have any problems running up to the swirl flap incident which = the rebuild.
  20. So does mine, then at around £75 its becomes more difficult, but if I trickle it in I can still get to £87ish
  21. New to me too mate.. BMW would have compensated for LHD to RHD I'm thinking if this is right?
