how much do i need, and what type?
Im 27 the missus is 25, we have a e46 320d on a 03 plate paying 500 notes fully comp. We paid 4k for the BM but that was under book price I think? Go for diesel mate, they are quicker than you imagine and still get 550 mile per tank. oh and welcome along and stick around...:lol:

Its actualy better in the snow and ice than the Megane or the Saab was. Then if I want, press the pedal a litte harder and the fun factor kicks in :-)

All the car inside was froze so they had been open a long time! Its miffed me to be honest. It was minus eight but im sure cars are tested way below that.

Had a knock at the door a six this morning, someone come to tell me all four windows on my car were down! I know I didnt leave them down and nothing is missing. Sat nav still on the seat! Could this be the cold messing with the electrics?

Im sure it would say magazine empty if the magazine is faulty. Got to be a connection problem.

Vag to Beemer!!
On my car I go from fahrenheit to celcius by turning my ignition key to position 1. I then press and hold the trip odometer reset button. Then I turn the key to position 0. This should work for you too

Its Back!!!!
Had the phone call from the wife at 10 this morning :-) All of a sudden I felt to ill to work so had to come home, I feel fine now but its to far to go back in this dangerous weather. ;) So I've decided im going to take the car back and go for a gentle drive in the BMW, just to make sure everythng is ok...... GET IN :D

Get it on a code reader, prob is a dodgy sensor but being certain could save you lots of messing about and a lot of money.

320D 150000miles
I got a saloon 320d 03 plate 110k miles and I gert mega amounts of miles to a tank too, at least 55mpg. Thats with a mixture of driving. Prob could do with a timing chain tensioner now, I've heard its a quick and cheap job.

First of all welcome to the club Kath. Having an E46 se my sel,f prob a bit biased, but good choice. Personaly I havn't drove the 1.8 myself but I have been told thay are guttless. But as a family car, and fuel economy you cant go wrong... Get some pics up...
