Help Needed 3 Series Coupe
Hi welcome along. 320 Fuel consumption (urban) 23.2 mpg Fuel consumption (extra urban) 40.9 mpg Fuel consumption (combined) 31.7 mpg 330 Fuel consumption (urban) 22.1 mpg Fuel consumption (extra urban) 40.9 mpg Fuel consumption (combined) 31 mpg So i imagine the other engine sizes would be inbetween, not much difference I'd deffo go for manual box, personal prefference + better fuel ecomony I think check suspension, get someone else to confirm this though And milage, BMW's run forever :-)

Noise on shut down
dont sound healthy, going to take it to a mecanic this week I think. There is a good one over the road from my work.

All I can think of is the switch, get it checked out and let us know.

I'd get that checked first. Do they flick off and on once their on? If so it could be a wiring problem. I'd say the switch though

Money is on faulty switch. Is it a switch or stalk on the E36? Either one id say your problem was there.

Welcome along, Are you saying your side lights come on straight away and your headlights take longer? If so how much longer?

Noise on shut down
Yes I did, but because I knocked him down so much on price he shortend my warranty, its now ran out. Its not affecting performance/tick over/fuel comsumption. Its prob nothing, was just wondering if anyone else with the 2 litre diesel had the same

reversing sensors
I dont think so, but mine are quite loud, I have to turn the radio off, but then there plenty loud enough.

Noise on shut down
I have a clucking noise from the engine bay about 5 -7 seconds after I turn off the ignition. I've been told this is something to do with the break servo, can someone comfirm this is nothing to worry about please. I've added a video but its not that good quality. Thanks in advance

I agree location does have its problems, also main dealers will prob be 50% more but quality and piece of mind will be there.

MPG
Mine averages 48mpg mixed driving (Im winning :lol: ) 40 flooring it Did a 600 mile run, most of lt motorway, in the rain, so careful driving, but still at 70mph and it returned 51mpg... Beter then the 28 my Megane used to give me :lol:
