Hi welcome along. I have a 320d 03 plate with 115k on the clock. Also I got paranoid about swirl flaps, but a bit or further reading, its just paranoia. But they will cost under £20 to replace if you do it yourself, not a hard job if your good with tools. As for turbo, just good, regular services should keep it winding.. Go for it mate, the 2l diesel engine with 150 horses pulls like a train, I was very supprised. Lots of torque too. Lets us know if you decide to go for it.

Welcome along... Just be carfull on the throttle as you exit apexs. Just dont panic and hit the brakes like i used too lol. Get some practice in on wet roads, that way you will find how the car reacts in the worst conditions with lots of throttle. oh, have fun

I thought this law was already in place...or am i getting mixed up with something else. I cant see why you should insure a car if its on your drive or in your garage...another way of fineing and making money for the goverment!!!
