Welcome along Natch Firstly 'bit like trying to have man time with boxing gloves on'...LMAO Anyway, Cant comment on that engine, but I cant imagine you will get 40mpg imo. And your making the right choice in make of car for high mileage, BMWs seem to go on and on. Just keep it regulary serviced and it will repay you with years of service.
