  8. All this started of as a leak!!! Anyway, found a leak in the Mini last weekend..My OCD took over and straight away though 'MEGA DETAIL' :D Anyway plan was to take carpet out and dry and wash it.. So seats, trim and carpet came out but I couldnt stop there!!! Headliners come out for a good old clean too, door cards are coming off tomorrow along with most of the dash. Some photos of how it is now...attached Also, who ever had it before must have had dogs, there was dog hair in every possible place. And Glass everywhere from a previous sunroof break. Anyway, everything is going to have a proper clean before it goes in, some parts are being carbon fiber wrapped and some of the trim changed, including the worn stearing wheel.. I'll try keep this post updated over the next few weeks with my progress..
  9. Looking forward to them mate B)
  10. Ill start 320d 2003 115k Control arm bushings, Front links, Strut mounts, Rear shock mounts, and hand brake not holding.
  11. Can everyone post the problems that they have had with their E46 so that we can try to find a pattern of everything that we should expect to have to replace/fix on our 3 series? We want to catalog common issues with the E46's. If you've had no problems (Lucky you!!!), just post "no problems" and how long you've had it. Thanks,

    The smilies are back :D
  18. Firstly welcome along mate. SE is the spec you need, everything else on top of that will be an added extra. I can only give advice on 320d, as I own one :D. Mine is a 150bhp engine, returning 50+mpg The newer models, the ones your looking at are 170bhp . As for swirl flaps, apprntly they get sucked into the engine and start breaking things as you can imagine, I havn't changed mine for blanking plates. And I think, the newer models have had this problem solved, but please check up on that.
  19. Ill second that B)
  20. Cheers mate...and T-cut...ouch ;)
