    Car doesnt have a Cam belt, it is a timing chain so sound fine to me

YES, However over the next year or so Insurance companys will ask if you have had a glass claim and it will be taken into consideration(like having a accident), Agree however Auto Glass are money making monkeys, It has been known in the past for them to bill us over £5000 for a 1980`s Porsche 911 front screen, When companys like AVG(recommend) can do the same job for £800. Shop around!!

  8. Excessive smoke,turbo wistle normal diesel check but otherwise cracking motor and the 330d does indeed make progress at a surprising rate!

  12. Honestly ditch the run flat,they are louder than normal tyres,wear quicker and are big bucks to change!

If its a E36 BMW then the follow applys Right Number plate lamp, Where the boot lid comes up you will see the wiring is shrink wrapped, undo this and you will find the wires have broken, easy fix, re join the wires! Lambda sensors, replace with new one(dont buy cheap ones), and on the way to the re rest give the car a damn good hard drive!! CATS work better when they are hot, Post up the emmsion readings and i will shed some light on it for you Co2 H Carbons etc

  16. Very interesting read after Dabsy post a few days back. I found out last night where to source the software to do this type of crime, however it is fair to say it is not ONLY BMW, any car with a key fob this can be done to, At a guess the tow rags are going after M tec cars and top end models

  19. Sometimes leaving the battery disconected can clear the fault.some times!
  20. I admire anyone who trys this as it is a total pig to do, swapping the roof is easy however trying to get rid of all the wind noise/getting the fabric tight is a right pain in the ....
