BMW 3 Series - £3000.00A 1981 5 speed manual 323i for sale with a full service history (including original sales receipts and documentation) having covered only 64000 miles. The car has had 2 owners and apart from an engine conversion to run on unleaded fuel at 50,000 miles and a new stereo/CD player, the car is in original condition. The car has an MOT until June 2013 and taxed until December 2012. Due to its age the body work does need some restoration but the engine, transmission and interior are all in excellent condition. The car would make a great example of its kind with a little TLC due to its outstanding documented history and original dealer ship letters that accompany the car. The engine starts immediately and pulls as new. The car passed its MOT with a few advisory notes mainly corrosion related to wheel arches and front springs (common for cars of this age) which can be rectified easily and has had 2 new front calipers (BMW original) fitted. Got my quote through today via the owners club Insurance scheme and saved £107 compared to the last insurer (who also offered discount for club members last year). Cheaper than compare the meerkat type of sites too. And the excess was cheaper too.. happy days!
