sky are ace for me.. getting 8mb which is great. Zero downtime as far as i know. We use internet TV everyday and always works. Virgin sucks, service sucked for me, full of promises and the engineer never turned up, made a mess of the wall when installing.. promised to fix, never did even after a few calls. Only thing i liked sky for was the TV, their box is better than sky or catch up tv.

Dear Club Members, As a majority of you may have noticed that we have undergone a big change on the forums and website. The change of website look and feel is part of a plan to enhance the clubs throughout and adding more exciting features to the club and keep you guys engaged with the community. The forum is just a start of the process and over the next coming months new things will start to appear on the website which will in turn enhance the new template. Tere will also be many asthetic tweaks coming too. As the new template of the site is rather new, there are still few few things that need fixing. I have been over pages over and over to get things ironed out but it can take quite a while to get it all looking perfect. So please bear with me on this. As members of the club it would be great for some constructive feedback from you guys, report any problems and suggest some ideas. If you could take time to send me an email with anything you think may help the site. Please remember, screenshots are very helpful if you have layout issues or be descriptive as possible. Today we've launched a new upgrade to the forums and a whole new website Although we still have a few styling issues (font and colours etc.) we will try and iron these out over the next few days. If anyone comes across the following please let us know here White screen Error Pages Broken Images (related to website) Non operational buttons and links Please jot them here and I will go through and fix these. You will also notice on the post pages there is now a menu and it's a tad black, this wil be used for cross linking the website. We have found many people come in directly to posts and leave once the answer is found. Our new menu will hopefully encourage crosslinking around the website. This has yet to be populated with data and images. Like i said, thing will be ironed. cheers

Every year, 1.3 million people are killed and 50 million injured on the world’s roads. Carmakers are racing to create a vehicle that will never crash, but can it be done and will drivers accept a computer that overrides their driving? Would you let a computer override you at the wheel?

Over the last few weeks we have been experiencing a few issues with the server. One of them was quite a big problem with server partitions which I solved. Today we had quite a bit of downtime, and with that we had a few locked tables in the database due to this interuptions corrupting transactions with th database. I have taken steps to get these downtimes to a minimum today. I have also commisioned technicians to see why we are having total failiure of the server and if it continues then I shall be moving the club to a new server asap. My apologies for this and please be rest assured I will try my best to get things running smoothly again as soon as possible.

Over the last week or so the site has had it’s ups and downs with downtime. This was due to us filling up one of our partitions on the server which holds the databases. This morning I have moved the the databases to a much larger partition and should no longer cause any issues. Apologies for this and hopefully it is now all sorted and you guys can get on enjoying the club. cheers Steve
