Service station costs
Cost of food in service stations is crazy… Although burger kig and maccy D’s seems quite reasonable compared to the sit in restuarant meals on offer! Do any of you guys just buy the Maccy D’s stuff?

Speedhumps
Something has to be done about traffic humps? Has anyone had any problems with their tyres or suspension? Some of these are really dangerous or annoying for homeowners living near one. I used to live near a speed hump and got fed up with hearing cars going over these and cars undersides being scraped. The whole neighbourhood is plagued with the !Removed! things!

Would you let your partner choose your next car for you? Does your partner have an influence on your next buy? Apparently according to figures, 60 percent of partners have an influence on next car purchases in the family

Excessive Oil Consumption ?
never put anything in apart from good quality oil on a regular basis.. period. I did once have a honda prelude that i never serviced for years.. one winter the oil froze and a big clump of it broke off and clogged the engine and the engine knocked... my uncle added an additive that broke all the sludge down which fixed the issue. always fresh quality oil from that point

2 year MOT's
Annual MoT tests could be a thing of the past, despite fears of an increased number of deaths and injuries, if a Government plan comes into force. Under the new plan, new cars would need an MoT after four years; cars under ten years would only need an MoT every two years, with only vehicles over 10-years-old needing an annual check. However, a study commissioned by the government appears to undermine this plan, saying that the move would be 'likely to have adverse road safety consequences.' Vehicle defects account for three per cent of road accidents according to The Transport Research Laboratory, with motoring groups fearing that biannual checks will cause an extra 55 deaths on British roads every year. With over 23 million MoT tests taking place each year, garages have also condemned this proposal, claiming jobs will be lost as repair work to get vehicles through the test will fall off. Despite all the arguments against, apparently the Department for Transport is still keen to push ahead with these changes. source: http://uk.autoblog.com/2011/08/23/government-to-relax-mot-rules-despite-concerns/
