Is there such a thing as a polish that will colour scratches? As mine is a black motor there are plenty of little marks and blemishes that I am loathed to try and colour stick away.

Your help, as always, is muchly welcome.

t-cut colour magic is quite good as a polish it darkens the scratches n adds colour to the paint in a roundabout way i have used it on all of my cars in the past. u will need to buy the black one of cause

HD wax sounds pretty good, i might ditch the meguires and give that ago

Although good advice. Dont use tcut. It will look ok for a while but continuse use will wreck your paint
