Hi Gavin

Nice one for that much appreciated :-) so far very happy with it goes very well nearly as fast as the fuel gauge lol

Welcome Duncan, Sounds like the M3 fuel gauge, enjoy your car and the forum. :D

Get rid of the mickey-mouse Mini and get a real BMW matey... Honestly.

The original Mini will never be replicated unless BMC ever go back into production !! ;)

I have a 2005 mini cooper just wondering what model mine is ® wise

Cheers

Is it just a cooper not a s?

How funny reading this tho. Little did i no id end up with a r53 myself :-)

Nothing wrong with the little mini cooper s. I can seriously embarrass a lot of these so called flash cars with their big power engines, big brakes, and sports suspension with my lighter car, big power, big brakes, fully set up suspension including corner weight set up with my mini cooper s. Depending on spec, you can easily achieve between 250-350 BHP depending on how deep your pockets are, going up to around 500 BHP. The thing is, with 250 BHP, and a well set up suspension system, coupled with a great set of tyres on lightweight wheels, and a balanced brake setup, on a circuit the little mini can easily match cars with more power around a track.

I kind of agree but... if you understand your BMW history, a lot of "whys" are answered :) which I'm doubly sure you do Daz :P

I'm a fan of the BMW mini..... but I ain't,... at the same time. Bit mixed. They do perform ;)
