The debate over manual or Automatic will like the Mousetrap Run and Run and Run 

In everyday use you can bomble around in D and just let the car do the work, if the red-mist descends you have a choice of Sport or manual with paddle shifts (depanding on spec) In standard spec the 335d pushes 286hp and over 500nm of torque enough to more than embarrass some serious motors. Been a 1 foot driver convert since the 80's

My Brother Inlaw runs a 535d Touring he always has them ECU tuned and de-badged 350+hp 800+Nm I was with him in Belgium travelling at the 120k speed limit a guy in a Carrera 4 shot up behind flashing his lights Bro floored the 5 and it left the Porker for dead. We pulled into services for coffee and fuel near Antwerp the Porker arrived parked and we sat with our coffee watching the guy from the Porsche walking around the 5 touring wondering what the hell it was.
