Shuddering Steering Wheel While Braking At High Speeds
The pads only judder under high speed braking when they have been cooked. It was especially prevalent when braking on a slip road. However I would have a look at what Dave is suggesting first then go for a set of good quality pads.

Shuddering Steering Wheel While Braking At High Speeds
I have only experienced this where new brake pads were not allowed to bed in properly for a few hundred miles before heavy braking was applied. You tend to find that the pads get cooked and then cause the judder when braking from relatively high speeds. New pads cured mine. If your happy that the pads were reasonable quality and were bedded in properly, it suggests another issue.

Misfiring E46 330ci
Rather than the stat it could just be the coolant temp sensor giving a duff reading which is giving the ECU false readings. I'm only guessing at this though.

Burning Oil Smell In Car Only
I had a similar issue with a different make of car. Rocker cover had a slight leak which was dropping onto the exhaust and was burning off. No sign of leak from under the car.

Cant really help without knowing the fault codes. It may be worth you getting one of these so you can check for yourself what is wrong before taking it to the stealer. http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/items/?_nkw=c110&_sacat=&_ex_kw=&_mPrRngCbx=1&_udlo=&_udhi=&_sop=&_fpos=&_fspt=1&_sadis=&LH_CAds=&clk_rvr_id=894942675904&satitle=c110&rmvSB=true It not only gives the code but provides a description. Also you can use it to clear the codes.

Could be or an air lock. Could also be a loss of pressure in the system somewhere. All of which stop it circulating properly.
