  1. Have you tried eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/items/?_nkw=e46+wing+mirror&_sacat=&_ex_kw=&_mPrRngCbx=1&_udlo=&_udhi=&_sop=&_fpos=&_fspt=1&_sadis=&LH_CAds=&clk_rvr_id=847208886327&satitle=e46+wing+mirror&rmvSB=true
  2. What a ripoff. This may help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJOhq9UJaHg&safety_mode=true&persist_safety_mode=1
  3. If it is running rich I am suprised one of the sensors hasn't picked it up and put the Engine Management light on. It may be worth putting a scanner on it to see if any codes come up. Alternatively stick some Cataclean in it and take it for an Italian Tune Up.
  4. Welcome back to the fold Andrew.
  5. Welcome along Kristian.
  6. Taz. The car looks great. I love the shape of the M Sport Coupe.
  7. Good luck. I have used Cataclean in the past and it has done the trick. I dont believe it cleans the cat but certainly brings emmissions down.
  8. Sounds like someone has had a nightmare car lol
  9. I see what you mean. It certainly sounds plausible but not something I have experienced. I wont let anyone else clean any part of my cars. I dont trust anyone enough.
  10. Have you tried using the toggle on the indicator stalk till the CHECK comes up and pressing the button on the end. It could just be your tyre pressures need checking and resetting or numerous other things. If it was an engine issue the EML would come on.
  11. I can understandyour frustration however I cannot see how changing the tyres would have caused that. The peeling does not look like it is the result of damage from scratching or chipping. It does look like a poor laquer finish to me peeling from the inside of the wheel. Its definately not caused by corrosion as you have pointed out and can only be as a result of a poor coating of laquer imo. Someone else may have a different point of view however.
  12. Thats good news. It may have been a sticky sensor/micro switch and a bit of use has got it moving.
  13. I cant find any one having experienced this. There must be a sensor not picking up the fact that the roof is fully down. Have you tried opening the roof with the remote. If you have the facility you should be able to make the windows go up just by continuing to hold the remote for a few seconds after the roof has fully opened.
  14. You could try one of these lip spoilers and spray it yourself: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-E31-Boot-lip-spoiler-850i-rear-boot-840-new-840ci-/320961233724?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item4abac7c33c
  15. Nice find Jamie. There are so few of those on the road now. I look forward to seeing it rejuvenated.
  16. If you mean the suspension measure the gap between the top of the rear wheel and the arch when the cars on level ground. The n do the same when its parked on a hill nose first. The gap should increase. You can probably see it increase without the need to measure the gap. If you mean the self levelling headlamps (if you have them), you can see these adjust as you drive at night up and down hills.
  17. Well done for finding the car you wanted. I know it took me months to find the spec I was after in the right colour. Found mine at Clearwater Automotive near witham on the A12.
