yep the bimmer is finally ready for the road, all tests done, government have robbed me off 112£ for 6 months use BEFORE FUEL!!! got a mate to take her out for a drive yesterday and my god shes lovly to be in, less than a week now til i can drive and getting just a little excited :) 8 days till the meet to :D

not including insurance and tax and mods. mot and everything else it came to £1558 car, thermostat plus housing. new coolant pipe, new battery, spark plugs, oil/filter. not bad me thinks. million times better than the french poo!! so fare :lol:

also theres a port in the engine bay for fitting a differant type of scanner. its by the brake fluid chamber, has a twist off cap. hope that may help

do you do many motorway miles? at a guess if you dont rag the car that much it will build up in the exhaust, evan more so when stood . then when accelrateing (sp!!) away it will blow it all out? give it a good blast down the motorway once a week

find a nice straight road, drive at say 20mph, let go of steering wheel, bobs yer aunties nan, you will no if its pulling B)

youd be surprised how crap the checks are! some things like setting the clock are done in some checks! A mechanic doing loads of road tests every day prob doesnt pay half the attention to them as they should
