Hi

Bought a bmw 635 csi that had been stood for 2 months it is MOT'd for 10 months. Put a new battery on her, drained old fuel and put fresh in but it will not start. Has great spark on all 6 plugs l, pump working as should, fuel on all 6, dried plugs and put oil in pots to create compression but it will not start.

Any ideas will be greatly received

Cheers

Tim

If all you have said is true then it will be a sensor(s) at fault.

Does it even "try" to start or just turn over? Does the Starter Motor spin well or does it seem tired?

Try unplugging and re-plugging all wiring connectors under the bonnet, maybe spray with WD40...

Concentrate on the Crank PS, Camshaft PS and Throttle PS, these three sensors are the babies that run the bugger via ECU !

Another thing to check is Fuel Pressure and its regulator, on the fuel rail(s) there should be, what looks like, a tyre-valve... press the needle in to expel air !

Just a couple of thoughts for you matey ;)

Cheers

It's just turns over with no attempt to start. I did think the sensors might be an issue.

Bit strange ..

Thanks again :)

Like above, check the 3 sensors Dabsy mentioned first mate.

There are way to test them without getting new ones, but google it as I dont want the blame if you short something out.

Good luck
