Hi new to club

Can anyone give me feedback on any chip upgrades for 523 manual

It can suffer with a bit of in smoothness Low down revs under certain loads

Has anyone got this and improved it

    It's not a 2.3. BMW stopped making engines with 2.3ltr displacement since the E30 era

    The engine in the 523i is an M52 with a 2.5ltr displacement.

    Yes, you can chip them but in my opinion, if you want big power gain then you might as well retire the 523i and invest in a V8. The chip will make that engine a lot nicer but, money is one of the larger factors.
