Wonder if someone might be able to give us a few pointers on what products to buy to clean my pride and joy and also the best practice.

Ive been told by another BMW enthusiast, that http://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/ is a good start, and that the product called Meguiars Gold Class is what to go for, but theres some many products, im not sure whats best to get?

Hi there ive used most of the common products and ive found meguiers which i use now gives a rich finnish, auto glym is just as good also the thing ive found with this range of products they all do the same thing!! dodo juice poorboys and gtech?? are more expensive and have yet to try, best results ive found is to wash, dry clay, once over with a quick detailer then hard wax rather than a polish, reason for this ive found the wax gives a slicker finnish and lasts for weeks!!!, have a look on the detailing part for more info gavs uploaded a vid with some of the g products looks like some good stuff!!! ul get some better opinions on that part of the forum hope this helps

i use autoglym and meguirs.both awesome

Invest in a DA mate, give her a good decontamination with products like ironX etc, then was, clay, wash, polish with DA then add wax of choice.

Waxing is pointless with out the prior.

Its all in the prep

Stick with AG products mate.

I stick with Autoglym, they are awesome products, if you are serious about cleaning, look into getting a clay bar again autoglym works well- this will remove any inground dirt. For waxing go for a more expensive make, I personally use Dodo Juice- Purple Haze, depending on your colour, you'd get a different kind. Purple haze is for darker colours. Comes out beautifully and rain beads on contact. Please don't use T-cut. It is too abrasive (compared to others) and can cause tiny tiny scratches.
