I've recently bought an X5 4.8is (what a beast!) and am just waiting on getting the v5 so that I can put my cherished number on it.

I recently sold my E39 Alpina B10v8 (sad day) because I was having difficulty getting in and out of it (must be getting old!) but I have been keen on BMW's for 20 years now, having owned several E30s including a very nice C2 2.7 Alpina (automatic) and a beautiful 325 Touring, a couple of e24 635s (one good the other rubbish) and an e39 540 Touring.

Hope to get to some meetings in Scotland sometime.
