Hi All

Just bought a 2001 BMW Z3 and was wondering if anyone could suggest things to check first of all.

Thanks from South Wales

Welcome to BMWOC :)

Somebody will be along soon to answer that question :)

Hi Lisa.

As i always say with secondhand BMW's,

Get all suspension components and bushes checked.

And get some pics up :-)

Welcome Lisa, other things are FSH and condition, oils and fluids changed at correct intervals and the car should give you many happy years of motoring, good luck.

Hi Everyone and thanks for the welcome.

Great thanks Alan, will get straight onto that.

And Gavin will have some pics up as soon as it stops raining!

FSH is a full service history, Lisa adn as everyone says, a comprehensive service history should say alot about the car!

The more reciepts etc it has the better, meaning less parts to replace in your time of ownership! May I ask what engine is in your Z3?

Welcome to the forum by the way!

You should be fine then, I've heard very little about this engine which can only be good news! :) I bet it's a hoot to drive!

Hello and welcome to BMWOC

Sounds like you got a cracking car, be sure to get some pics up asap (Of course, when it stops raining :D)

Daz

Hi Lisa, I have a few neighbours with Z4's and they have had no problems with their cars, I am sure your Z3 will be the same, enjoy
