hello everyone my car has been offf the road for a few months iam getting it ready for its mot but now for no reason the airbag warnig light has come on. any ideas please help thank

check the connections under the seat(normally the drivers one) Might be condensation or come loose a bit you never know..

Other then that get it plugged in and see what that comes up with.. airbags hurt when you mess with them. i wouldnt advise it.

Ben

More than likely the occupancy sensor under the passenger seat mate.

Some cheap fixes on ebay dude.

Sometimes leaving the battery disconected can clear the fault.some times!

Battery disconnect didn't work for me and neither did a bypass from eBay. Does this mean I need to get it fixed "properly" and pay lots of pennies? :(

Charlee what code did the reader throw up on yours? Did you get it cleared?

I don't have a plug in so will ask a friend to do that for me when I get a day off work. But I have a horrible feeling I'm going to have to replace the whole thing :(

Once the codes are clear your be fine

I had this problem and I found that the connecter under the air bag on the steering wheel had corroded, contact cleaner fixed the problem and a reset cleared the light
