Not really, Richard. It may reset "learned" values in the ECU and related modules if left disconnected for a long period. Sometimes a good thing as the car will adapt to your driving alone, and not a previous owner.

In any case, you are always advised to disconnect the battery before commencing any electrical work/mods. HTH ;)

Hi, I need to disconnect the feed to 2 units on my ICE and the easiest way i can see is to Disconnect the Battery, is there any thing i need to know before doing this,
