I too have a private plate and use th spacing, but I think yours is a little too wide, maybe a bit closer together would be better IMO !!

been followed by so many poilce and traffic police and never been pulled though ( best to be on the safe side though lol)

I had L14M XJ on my jag for a couple of years and never got stopped think it depends on if the gather got laid the night before :-)

haha lol, just in 2 minds weather to spend out for new plate (spacing to be changed) or to leave them as they are?

Leave them as they are,if ya get stopped cos of them just tell em they was on the car when you bought it but will change them asap.....blah blah blah :)

Its what Id do,but dont quote me on that !! (I'll get told off again!!)

Yes

Ive had mine all pushed together for 6 years now never been pulled for it. Wouldnt worry

You WILL get pulled by a traffic officer for your plate sooner or later

well i think its best i get them done then  , so is it just the gap in the middle to big?

yup !!

The BMW logo is illegal as well.

ANPR will struggle to a certain degree

They also have to have the postcode of where they were made (in the middle bottom) and the British Standard mark (in the bottom right corner). So probably at least 75% of plates on the road are illegal !!

I saw Police Interceptors on TV and a girl got pulled for having wrong spacing on the plate, she was given a notice to get that changed within 7 days, have to agree with the logo being illegal. :D

cheers everyone for ya advise and comments, shall get them changed asap. :D

About the emblem on the plate... What about Euro Plates with blue section incorporating a flag?

Got a new car and that has not got the Euro flag on the side. :D
