hey everyone,

i have just got a 2003 bmw 316?ti.i was wondering if i could change the clocks? and the business cd player as it looks very standard. also if i re-mapped the ecu, what benefits would i get? bhp,mpg etc?

1 - Yes, there are aftermarket dials available.

2 - Yes but you will need an adaptor cable for the new head unit (assuming it won't be a BMW one), and another one for the steering controls.

3 - If you're keeping it standard then a re-map will smooth out the power range and maybe get you an extra 10hp and better economy, there are usually pre-set maps to choose from. If you intend to modify the car (exhaust, filter etc) then best to do the mods first before any re-map... Ask yourself if its worth £200+ for the re-map !
