Hello Richard

Firstly the airbag light is a common feature eventually on most BMW I am led to believe, so you come to love it in time because so long as that is lit you know you dash is working fine :) Secondly is it the light out warning light? and if so is it for a rear light?

Introduce yourself in the newbie section dude..

As Caz says with the airbag light mate, a bypass can be brought that fits to the sensor on the passanger seat.

As for lights, have you cahnges and clusters/bulbs, added angel eyes recently? There could be a wrong wattage bulb of if you have modded, a load strain

Welcome rich, yes Gav is correct there is a bypass sensor on eBay for 10 quid I bought one and fixed the problem, check my write up on the BMW owners section iv done a write up

Hi nd welcome, i hve the same problem, ive had the airbag light turned off twice (its a faulty tensioner) commn problem, i put up with it now and surrender.

... Just to add to the correct comments above... Your airbags will still deploy if ever the unfortunate situation does happen, It's just the passenger seat sensor that gives the error... Thats all !
