Hi everyone

Have just joined owners club. Have just bought 330d cabriolet stunning car but fuel consumption is worse than my other 330d saloon which has been remapped! Just wondered what consumption your 330d might be giving? My old one doing 40mpg and new one 36 mpg!

Welcome Alison, Nice car, look forward to seeing pics, cabriolets are normally heavier due to the strengthening and weight of the hood motor, but I am sure you will receive an answer from someone who knows, enjoy. :D

Aww, thanks to you all. My new cabriolet is an E96 model, my saloon is E46. I have been told by the dealer that they normally settle down after the first 40,000 miles and then the consumption goes up (not sure whether to fall for that one) but I am worried that I am only getting between 36-37 mpg from the new motor and wonder if there is something wrong? Both motors are auto.....

Same as any car... Once components "bed-in", gaps 'n stuff will become apparent... BUT RARELY IN A BMW !!!
