Towing With A 320D

i'v just bought a new caravan and plan on using the '03 320d to pull it. i'v read that its an excellent tow car, but was wondering if anyone here had any experience towing with this model close to its weight limit?

not as of yet but ive got a tow bar to go on.

they are ment to be really good at towing, especially a diesal as it has all the torque , just ask gav :lol:

plenty of power i know, but my main worries are if the engine gearbox and axles are up to the job in the longterm.

a 3.5t car/trailer combination is bound to put lots of strain on it, dont want things to be breaking
