Hi everyone,

I'm Ben, and I have just found a 330d Touring M-sport to be fixed up.

I'm really excited, it will be my first BMW.

I've spent most of my life driving little sports cars or cheap runabouts, so this looks like a little bit of luxury with some sensible performance.

My work now means I drive considerable distances and for the last 12 months I have been driving a beaten up ex-taxi 406HDi. Great car considering it only cost me £450 and has now done 15k extra miles.

That represents serious value for money. But, it's ugly and battered (before me I might add), so I'm looking forward to a nice car, which according to you guys "has everything"

Please welcome me to the club, and feel free to give me any hints, tips, advice, trye recommendations, etc. etc.
