I was wondering if anyone could help or at least point me in the right direction....

I own a 53 plate 730d sport and someone over the weekend decided to remove the strip and parking sensors that go around the full length of the front and rear bumpers.

I would prefer to avoid an insurance claim and therefore would like to see if i can get hold of and replace the parts my self on the cheap.

This is the 3rd time it has been vandalised this year so i am thinking of getting rid of it and would probably accept simply replacing the strips without the parking sensors, to at least make it look presentable for selling.

Can anyone suggest somewhere to get the parts?

I have been told if i go to bmw it will cost well over £1000 and a breakers yard in London have quoted me £400 for some cracked strips which will then need painting.

Anyone's help would be much appreciated.

    I cant believe how low some people stoop for money!!!

    I cant help you much mate, but I did call BMW about replacing all my plastic exterior trim in excess of £400!!!!

    how much was the qoute for just the parts, were are you based? may be able to help with the painting .
