I'm a chauffeur an in the middle of changing cars . Can anyone tell me the fuel consumption with 525d an 520d auto both round town an motorway ? Thanks

    Hi welcome along.

    I have a 320d, I average 45mpg, but thats booting it a lot and i imagine you wont be doing that with clients in the car.

    I did a 600 mile trip last year and it returned 62mpg!!!

    If im careful round town, It is easy to get it up to 55mpg..

    Ill look for official stats for you now, but the above are honest stats

    Right, the combined mpg for the 2.5d is 40.9mpg

    the combined for the 2.0d is 47.9mpg

    So i'd expext you would get over 50mpg with carful driving mate

    im dreading putting fuel in mine.

    last time i filled a car up it was well cheaper per litre!!

    cause il have my work van though it means i can use the bimmer at weekends happily. prob do a run in the week to.
