Dont get me wrong, I get compliments daily on how nice my car looks.

But as you prob know, I have an OCD with cleaning it.

Just a few things getting on my nerves at the moment..

Firstly, the 2 rust scabs on the rear arches..

Im not sure on how to get rid of these without expensive respray...any ideas would be welcome

Then also the huge scratch on the nearside side skirt...

Looks like removing the skirt and a respray???

The bottom corner of the door scabbing, and a poor previous repair

Then the bonnet...as with all BMW's....the dredded stone chips..

And the scratch.

You can see where over the last few weeks I've been building the paint up, using the tooth pic method, ready to knock back down and get the machine to finnish them off.

Then the lacquer starting to come away on the front passenger door..

And for the bit thats most annoying..

someone ran into the rear or my car a few months back, resulting in new boot lid, new bumper and various other parts..

But the d*ck heads at the repairers decided, for some unknown reason, to blow both rear quarters in.

Poor 'Orange Peal' paint is the result.

I've tried to capture where they blended to the existing paintwork here...

Any advice would be great

Oh and the wheels, this is the worst..

But I have this problem covered

Your arches will need filling Gav

hate to say it but thats is going to need a respray gav

bonnet might tidy up a bit but as you said its prob best to get a full blow over the full car!

if theve blended the 1/4s why didnt they just paint to the swage line? ten times easier and black is usually a really good match to do lol

I think respray too.

Been quoted £800, and I trust this bloke with my life..

I think im going to have to go for it..

Just have a "Blow over" a decent spray shop would do one...

As for the wheels... You can get a set off Ebay with tyres that would cost the same as new tyres... ?

Im not fussed about the wheels, to be honest, if I wasnt having spray job I'd buy some new 19's.

But Im ok repairing them myself
