I have been round the Nurburgring in many different cars (Always FWD) and this year will be my first with a 2010 Z4. I am worried about the RWD aspect!1 Should i be or is RWD not all that bad what people make it out to be?

surly your use to driving it on the road?

just take it easy and youll be fine.

im going myself this year in my E46 and i did think about it at first but il just take it slowly, maybe  .

welcome to the club also B)

Welcome along...

Just be carfull on the throttle as you exit apexs.

Just dont panic and hit the brakes like i used too lol.

Get some practice in on wet roads, that way you will find how the car reacts in the worst conditions with lots of throttle.

oh, have fun

Just to had to the previous great responses...

Its a worldwide fact that BMW's are well ballanced (Engine at front and RWD plus fantastic suspension)...

When it feels light just back off the throttle and feather her through it - NO brakes, that will push the weight forward giving no grip at the rear.

If you can, stick a camera on the dash and record it, now that would be cool.

Then post it up here.

if you do that they wont let you on the 'track' your also not allowed to time yourself.

if you have a passenger get them to hide the camera then when on away you go ;)
