Hi everyone I was wandering if anyone could possibly help me again?

I was told that my X5 should lock automaticly when I get to 5mph. The guy that told me this said if this isn't happening,I would need to take her in to a main stealers and get them to programme the key as this is how it is triggered? :unsure:

Could someone please tell me if this is true and if so if there is any way for me to programme it myself?

    Is there a button in the cab to lock the doors?

    If so try holding it for ten seconds with ignition on...

    its not the key its the ecu in the car its probbably a feature that has been disabled and needs to be re-activated
