I've got a knocking from the front at low speed over bumps.

My mechanic was 100% it was the anti roll bar drop links.

Changed them this morning, still got the knocking!!!

A little fustrated now, anyone else got any ideas?

snapped spring? happened to me once in the meg, found the snapped bit on my drive lol

gave me a excuse to lower it ;)

Coil overs:-)

ive seen some, they got Gavs 320 writen all over them.

its mad how cheap coil overs are now compared to a few years ago.

il be happy with a slight lower on mine though. 30mm perhaps, little more on the front

Could be snapped spring, worn bushes, although a sneaky problem could be a bust damper thats leaked all its lube out and the muck off the road is hiding it

Well it looks like my oil cooler has come away and cracked hence all the oil shooting up into the engine so nothing at all serious thank god, although now the idea has been put in my head I am very tempted to either sell the car or break it for the leather interior and alloys and fund a e30 going to see what interest i have in it first

Did you say alloys?

What are they?

Im sure ive curbed mine and need new ones :-)

been thinking about my alloys, as i cant afford some nice 19s til prob another year :(

going to prob still lower her, then some spacers to push my 18s out slightly .

seen a similiar car and it looks proper nice!

Yeah gav i`ll have a look at them after my dinner and get you the sizes
