on the way home today i ended up with a kamikazi push rod rider in front of me,which was so all over the road that he nearly hit me! t****r.which made me think, if we have to be insured, shouldent them on a push rod be insured for the damage they might cause too? i know this could spark a debate if there are any push bikers or eco warriors out there!

Well....lol...

This thread has the potential to get interesting

As a 'kamikazi push rod rider' my self, I have to say anyone who rides their bike like they wouldnt drive a car is a t##t, on the road that is.

I dont think the eco warrior thing can come into this as your not talking about tax, emmissions ect...

But insurance, yes I'd have to agree, anything on the public road should have some kind of insurance...

i do agree with the insurance thing , however i did have my bike insured when i first got it, and tbh wasnt worth the paper it was written on, so binned it off.

the thing with if you had to have insurance , how will kids afford to pay for it?

Good point...

i reckon it could be part of a household policy or somthing? if u had a giant gouge down the side of your beemer from a bike,u would be pretty racked off i reckon, but see your point from the kids point of view,(think i can remember running into a car as a kid myself!)

I can remember runnining into the back of a parked car myself when I was a kid, a BMW come to think of it.

My old man forked the bill, maybe household insuance could cover this????
