Hello people, im have a major problems with my driver side electric window on my bmw e36 318 is coupe, the glass is in the door and wont come up, when i press the switch the motor moves but the regulator only moves about an inch, can anyone help?

    Has anyone replaced the regulator on a e36 coupe? im thinking of replacing the motor and regulator but iv heard it isnt an easy job as there is a fine adjustment when re-fitting, does anyone have any tips?

    go carefull mate you will have to deactivate the air bag sensors i had mine fitted on my last e46 by my local garage cost £50 well worth it

    had that problem but it started where the window would go up and then go back down on its own with both windows on my 318is. fitted motors which i had of e-bay, cost £35 each and havent had any problem since
