Would appreciate your thoughts on 22inch rims on my 640 msport gran coupe. I wanted to know if they will cause any issues down the road. Or if they need coding

    22" wheels !!! 😲 Apart from looks I can't think of a single reason for wheels that size.

    Tyre choice will be restricted so price will probably go up, tyre profile will be less so ride will be harsh at the least so you may need the help of a Chiropractor plus road noise will probably increase.

    My X5 runs 20" as standard, ride is hard road noise can be intrusive on certain surfaces however the same journey on my 18" winter wheels is very different due to the increased side wall. The car does look better on the 20" wheels in my opinion but rides better on the 18"

    As they say we pay our money and make our choice.
