Hello. I'm due to sell my X5 very shortly.   It is one of 2000 limited edition 10-year anniversary models and I'm not sure how this impacts on the valuation as you can't do a comparison on any other cars for sale?   Has anyone sold one of these before who can advise me?  Thanks

I think it is a case of 'its worth it to someone who wants it'....I would try putting it on ebay with a very high reserve just to see what the bids are like and then go from there...at least you'll have a valuation, of sorts.

Difficult one to quantify, special editions and extra's when buying new tend to cost us dear but at sale time seem to carry little weight. If you find a buyer who is knowledgeable and looking for an anniversary edition you both win if its just your average buyer I doubt it will add much condition and history will be more important.

I had an end of run Range Rover P38 to dealers and many buyers it was just an old model sadly. My current X5 is the E53 4.6is model only around 400 odd left now but unless I could find a collector I doubt it will fetch much above average sadly.
