i-drive & iphone 6

Hello everyone, new member here. I've introduced myself in the welcome area and now i'm after a little advice. I have just picked up my 2012 320d sport(which I love) but when I plug my iPhone 6 using the USB port it just says not supported. I know I can buy a jack plug but that's not good enough for me, so was wondering if there are any products available out there to enable me to plug in my iPhone 6 and yet be able to control track selection through idrive. is there any such accessories to do this that I can buy or is the idrive in my car too old and will never be able to support my iPhone?

thanks  Scott

I did read somewhere (sorry old bloke syndrome and can't remember where) that you have to enable streaming in the settings some how I believe it's separate setting for A2DP. Try a You tube search that should find something I am sure.

Sorry I cant be of more help mine has old tech (a bit of wire with a plug on the end)

Dave
