Very Very Nice!

I have never seen one of that age so clean and straight. Lovely.

It will get better as it hasn't been washed, polished or waxed in 14 yrs, nothing done to the interior either. The leather has survived really well, still supple with that lovely smell.

Been under the cover, which I have put through the washer a few times to keep the muck off.

Had my other toy out yesterday, a "gaggle" of Westfields at Bancroft Mill engine house in Barnoldswick, steaming day. The MD of Westfield Cars came as his grandmother used to work at the mill & his Father was a graduate apprentice at Rolls Royce here in Barnoldswick.

It's finished, all I have to do now is polish my Aviators.

Cheers

Well Stephen that looks absolutely fabulous, what a wonderful motor and you have every right to be very proud of such a fine example.

Reminds me of when I lived in Germany in mid 80's looked to buy a plain and simple 3 series 318is (in that very colour) but decided on a Ford Sierra 4x4. Stupidity of youth you might say but saw sense in the end.

Have fun and enjoy every minute resplendent in the Miami Vice Shades ;-)

Great job. The car looks fantastic. A true classic that anyone would be proud of.

Just been for a beautiful drive on part of the route through the Yorkshire Dales the Tour de France will be taking on Saturday, very close to where I live, stopped for a pint of Timothy Taylor's naturally. The car is absolutely fantastic, as good as the day I picked it up from the dealer, I can hardly believe it.

Need a new project.

Cheers

Now it's all finished, I'm wondering how much the car is worth, both for insurance purposes and as a sale. (It's not for sale)

Anybody any ideas, or the best way to get a valuation.

Cheers

I have seen one with 50k miles up for £3,200 private and I have seen a later one up for £4,995 with a dealer. There was another dealer trying to sell a 1990 version for £20k with 15k miles on the clock but I think that was wishful thinking.

Realistically I think it should be worth £6k. Its in fabulous condition and very low miles and near on impossible to replace. Someone else may have a different figure in mind.

Welcome to the site, great story, lovely car.
