  1. Welcome to the forum.
  2. It turns out I didn't answer my own question, apparently the shocks are also different to the SE spec shocks aswell as the springs.
  3. Hey guys im going to be replacing both rear springs in the next couple of weeks. Just wondering what the difference is between SE and M-sport suspension, is it just that the M-sport springs are slightly shorter/stiffer? My car is a 525i SE with M-sport suspension. Thanks James

  5. Welcome to the forum.
  6. Just had new (Pagid) rear discs and pads fitted and a new rear drivers side wheel bearing, didn't even know the wheel bearing had gone until we got the car on the ramp as I couldn't hear it in the car.
  7. Is it just me or has the forum been very quiet recently as there doesn't seem to many new posts? Hopefully I'll catch up with some of you if your going to the Pod on the 14/15th of next month.
  8. Welcome the forum. Here's the buyers guide for the E46, don't have any specific knowledge of the 318 so maybe one of the owners on here can give you that info. http://www.bmwownersclub.com/forums/topic/4036-e46-buying-guide/

  10. I remapped my old E90 320d, it was the 2006 163bhp/250lbft version of the engine and after it was 200bhp/295lbft. I was very happy with the results, an extra 2-3mpg was achieved and the torque increase was very noticeable.
  11. Glad to hear you got it sorted.
  12. Welcome
  13. With regards to the aircon they won't just re-gas it before anything else, they will first check the whole aircon system to make sure its not going to leak because they will of course be filling it with refrigerant gas.
  14. Thanks but I think I'll endup going for Uniroyal Rainsports as ive tried Falken before on my Type R and they are good in the dry but not so good in the wet plus I live in Scotland where it rains more often than not.
  15. Welcome Shaun, get some pics up.

  18. It could be a faulty FSR (Final stage resistor). On the e39 5 series the FSR is located under the dash, drivers side, near the clutch pedal. Someone else had a similar problem where the blower was stuck on and it was the FSR that was to blame, I believe the part is available through Eurocarparts. Hope this helps. James
