Hi and welcome to the club Mark. I can't offer any advice on the Xdrive but the 120d I previously owned was a real hoot drove like it was on rails. I guess yours will be even better. Please post some pictures when you have taken delivery, we all want to see. ;-)

IMO there's no choice to make. You can't beat 6 cylinders (well maybe you can) 325d all they way. ;-)

Sorry to hear about this Bogdan, bleeding Scroats. I know it's a bit like bolting the door after the event, but for future peace of mind, have you considered a third party alarm? I'm considering a Viper for my M3. Not a cheap fix but has all the bell and whistles to deter the opportunist thieving git. ;-(

Bruce don't start on about how old you are 'cos Jeffthro will start on about OAP's again. God, I remember my daughters first lesson, she nearly killed us both, never took her out again. Perhaps you both should compile a definitive list of what cars you've owned and when. May become a best seller lol ;-)
