  1. Really doubt it was an earth TBH. This more than likely would have just made the 'load' fail. In my experience, its usually a live thats earthing to a metallic point connected to the chassis somehow.
  2. Welcome to the club. What wire was burnt?
  3. You may have read my Facebook satus the other day Chris I suppose I am the driver that gives BMW drivers that bad name lol.. Hold on...I remember you taking me for a blast in the bus once...WHAT SPEED LIMIT ;) :P
  4. Who cares about smoke when its in the face of a 330ci behind a 335d??
  5. Also.. After you have watched the JC who hate diesels Vid I posted.. Could you also take note of the lack of intelligence from the petrol drivers. Clever people drive diesels.. :P
  6. I agree drums look not very nice. Would you need to add a biased valve too?
  7. Did anyone mention the differences in the price of road tax? ;) IMO the only thing letting a derv down is the noise. 2ltd Diesel compared to a 2.2l petrol Diesel is faster, more economical, less tax. 120k and I still have the original turbo, yes I forked out £1400 for a swirl flap being sucked in, but I could have prevented this for £30 with a blanking plate. All engines have there faults, but IMO a diesel is a no brainer with the windows up!
  8. But to get anywhere in a 1.2 Corsa you have to rev the nuts off it, hence the low MPG

  11. But to answer your Q.. Na...dont think so...I will get on to Steve about it though for you
  12. Im guessing you have a square monitor then? The layout is prob set up for newer, more popular widescreen LCD/retina displays. Im having no problems with 1920 x 1080
  13. What resolution is your monitor displaying Dave?
  14. Mine locks with the boot open.....not sure if thats a good thing? Have got in the car many time in the morning, turned on ignition to find boot has been open all night.
  15. Its a pretty bad design. I remember last winter, I locked the car, walked away with the key between my teeth. Woke next morning to find all 4 windows open and the inside froze!! I held the open button pressed in my mouth lol Would have been a better design to lock it self up after 10 mins, dare I say it, my Megane used to shut it self up after a few minutes.
  16. Great find Chris. I will defiantly be getting one of these for future memories when the E46 is finished
  17. Not sure, but I know my 2003 E46 is hard as nails and will stay unlocked all night. BMW's are just fearless..
  18. Dabsy... Yeah, we here at BMWOC have been trying for quite a while now ;)
