Right guys, Looking into getting a mini for the wife. Got 4k ish budget, and cant afford the insurance on a Cooper S So will settle for a Cooper. Any advice on buying is well welcome...:D

When you buy your road tax (as you all should) do you go for the 6 or 12 month option? I always buy 12 month option But are you worried that your car might be stolen or a right off in 6 months time and wont want to apply for a refund!! Do you chaps think that the price is worth it? Some of the roads near me are a right state and it makes me well mad as my suspension is pretty hard.

Have you ever drove afta a few drinks? I regulary drink when I have finnised work on a Friday(12.30pm) Then realise I want to go somewhere and can't so have to wait for the wife to get home a 6pm!!! I must admit though, I will drive after 1, no more though, as Im a Stella drinker and 10 stone wet lol Oh, prepare to get slated if you are a drink driver...
